The Grawks, Shehehe, Palace Doctor, Dusty Blades

Athens band The Grawks have been on a steady upward path, in terms of both style and fidelity, since releasing a rough if promising batch of early demos a few years back. The group will celebrate the release of its new LP, All That Lasts, with a performance this weekend. The record’s lead single, “Outta My Head,” is a wonderfully nasty slab of tremolo-laden sleaze-rock. Saturday’s show doubles as the release party for Endless Summer, the new full-length from local power-punks Shehehe. Palace Doctor and Dusty Blades share the bill. After being burglarized, the 40 Watt has recovered the majority of its stolen gear and is thankfully ready to rock again.
