OTP Fest

For a high-octane alternative to this weekend’s myriad Popfest goings-on, camp out at the Caledonia Lounge Saturday for an all-day lineup of punk, ska, hardcore and more. This year’s aptly named OTP Fest features bands from all across this great state of ours, including Columbus’ X-Ray Vision, Habersham County’s Taj Motel Trio, Ball Ground’s Crabhammer, Griffin’s Go-Nowheres, Dalton’s Sawed Offs and Augusta’s BullMoose and Gloom Cocoon, plus locals Nightmare Coast, Burns Like Fire, Karbomb, Pansy and a whole bunch of others. A few ITP Atlanta bands seem to have snuck onto the bill, too, like Joy Kills and The Lone Deaf Pig-Dog—but we’ll let it slide.
