Indie South Fair is the largest open-air artist market in town, showcasing the best in handmade crafts and vintage items. Indie South has blossomed exponentially over the past decade, not only expanding from its mainstay biannual markets into several smaller-scale events throughout the year, but also beyond the borders of Athens into multiple cities across the Southeast. Owner Serra Jagger also opened a brick-and-mortar headquarters and retail shop in Normaltown last summer, offering a highly curated selection of artwork, collectibles and vintage clothing. The 10th annual Springtacular will have over 75 local and regional vendors offering everything from jewelry, natural bath and body products, sustainable clothing, pottery, paintings and home goods. In addition to the vendors, the market offers food trucks, music and kids craft activities to create a well-rounded destination for spending the afternoon.
