Tory Lanez has finally hit the big time. After releasing 15 mixtapes over the course of eight years, Lanez’ debut album, I Told You, was released via Interscope. Combining a tough-as-nails rap flow with an R&B vocal delivery, Lanez has managed to make a name for himself across multiple genres. After finding early critical success from offbeat collaborations with producers like Ryan Hemsworth and Shlomo, Lanez has transitioned to a more mainstream but still remarkable sound befitting of his major-label status. Though recent radio hits “Say It” and “Luv” trend more towards the softer R&B side, you can expect his live show to be rowdy and out of control.
