Local artist Susie Burch’s latest collection of oil and watercolor paintings, “Rocks and Water,” represents her deep admiration for the natural world. Finding constant inspiration while working en plein air, the artist focuses on the movements of water, textures of rocks and reflections of light for this series. No stranger to Heirloom—which is owned by her daughter and located next door to her studio—past exhibitions have included a collection of cacti and succulents inspired by a trip to Tuscon, AZ, and a series of portraits inspired by local farmers. Burch’s works will remain on view through Oct. 24.
