Giving everyone a chance to get nice and loose on their way to flooding the streets of downtown for AthFest’s outdoor shows—or better yet, a chance to attempt curing the previous night’s debaucheries with a hair of the dog—New West Records is presenting its third-annual daytime soiree for early risers. The afternoon features indoor (read: air-conditioned) acoustic sets from The Whigs, Cicada Rhythm and folksy Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Elijah Ocean. Attendees can assemble their own tacos, complimentary of Sr. Sol, and get hydrated with beer, 1000 Faces coffee, soda or water—all for free.
